Dear Anna,
I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for eight months, and I genuinely appreciate many aspects of him. He is kind, humorous, and a dedicated teacher, which makes him an exceptional partner. However, there is one significant concern that weighs on my mind: his obsession with gaming.
When he isn’t at work, he spends an excessive amount of time playing video games, often prioritizing them over our time together. I understand that gaming can be a fun and engaging hobby, but it feels like it’s taking a toll on our relationship. I find myself feeling neglected and frustrated when I try to engage him in activities outside of his gaming world.
I want to support his interests, but I also crave a more balanced relationship where we can share experiences and create memories together. How can I approach this situation without discouraging his passion for gaming while also ensuring that our relationship remains a priority?
