July 2026 Brings a Stack of Heavy Hitters and One Rage Quit Waiting to Happen

July 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months for new game releases in recent memory. The lineup spans major franchise comebacks, indie darlings, and at least one title that seems designed specifically to test your patience and your hardware's durability.

Leading the charge is the next entry in the Assassin's Creed series. Ubisoft is finally ready to deliver a new chapter after a longer-than-usual gap between mainline games.
