June 2026 Game Releases: A Stacked Month for Players

Summer is a great time to tackle your game backlog, but June 2026 is making that difficult. The month is packed with major releases across every platform, and it looks like the second half of the year is starting with a bang.

Kicking things off is "Fable," the long-awaited return to Albion. After years of rumors and delays, Playground Games is finally releasing their take on the beloved fantasy series. Early previews suggest a mix of British humor, lush open worlds, and action RPG combat that feels fresh but familiar. It lands on Xbox and PC on June 2.

Mid-month brings "Metroid Prime 4: Beyond" on June 12. Nintendo has kept details close to the chest, but the footage shown so far promises first-person exploration, atmospheric environments, and Samus at her best. This is a system seller for the Switch 2.

Later in June, "Ghost of Yotei" arrives on PlayStation 5 on June 20. Sucker Punch's follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima moves the action to feudal Hokkaido with a new protagonist and a darker tone. The combat looks sharper, and the world is more dynamic.

Other notable releases include "Dragon Age: Dreadwolf" on June 6, "Star Wars: Eclipse" on June 27, and "Hollow Knight: Silksong" finally dropping on June 30. Indie fans also have "Slay the Spire 2" coming on June 10.

If you have a favorite franchise, chances are it is getting something this June. Clear your calendar and your hard drive.
